Several times a year we take our boys to the wonderful pick-your-own farms outside of Westchester County. Every July we fill our buckets with beautiful blueberries - "two for me, one for the bucket." Then of course there is apple and pumpkin picking in the Fall, with many of the farms offering hayrides, corn mazes, and other fun activities for the kids. And there is nothing better than a farm-fresh cup of cider or homebaked pie from the farm stand. But unfailingly I usually come up with the great idea of visiting a farm after the growing season is over. Case in point, I already missed strawberry picking season this year! I thought I'd share some of my favorites so you can schedule a trip with own family, without missing another season, and create some memories of your own.Growing Seasons:
